Keep your hat on your head, your hands in your pockets, and your mouth shut!

Today Richard and I helped out at the big Pharo Bull Evaluation event on Weston Walker’s farm just a few miles from here.

Kit getting a closer look as they evaluated and scored 137 bulls for fleshing ability, thickness, muscling, masculinity and disposition.

After they finish evaluating each bull, they passed them onto Richard

who brought them up the alley

around the tub

and onto the scales. In the chute they did ultrasound scans and measured hip heights.

It was just a little cool, but no wind, rain or snow, so it was a really nice winter day to work cattle.
