Lunch both days was great!

Richard and Brian (ranch owner) talk about the demonstration coming right up.

Richard likes to stand in a pen and get to know the livestock just a bit before starting to work them.

Driving these nice heifers.

Three volunteers head out to drive the heifers.

Then we let the heifers out in an 8 acre pasture. Richard explains the game plan to the two volunteers going out with him.

The plan was the drive the herd through the “gate” in the snow fence. They did get some through!

Then they drove the heifers down to a corral and “Bud Box” to show how that works.

Richard easily sorted the heifers without horns away from the two with horns.
