Simplicity is an acquired taste. Mankind, left free, instinctively complicates life.

Photos from Two Day Stockmanship School near Arcola, SK, Canada

Here’s the great group for the “classroom” part of the school on Tuesday.

Welcome to Canada!

Richard had trained the heifers behind him, brought them up toward the class, “parked” them, and they stayed right where he left them while he talked to the group.

Richard put the heifers in the corral, visited with the class a bit, and then worked with the heifers in the corral.

Richard sorted all the blacks from the one red and put them through the “Bud Box” and out the alley. After that, they remained standing right there even with all the folks watching and all that had happened to them that morning [hint, we weren’t suprised, though the owner was]!
