Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

Edinburg, Virginia School, June 7-10, 2017

We had a fun trip to Virginia for a marketing and stockmanship school at J&L Green Farm with Jordan and Laura Green. They are doing excellent work not only on their own farm with pastured poultry, hogs, and beef but also in helping others start their own farms. You can read more about their work helping other farmers on their Facebook page at FarmBuilderJordan

Also, Jordan did a video interview with us covering some basics and also questions about both Livestock Marketing and Proper Stockmanship. Watch it here.

I managed to get a photo of each new state sign as we traveled from Missouri to Virginia!

If you live close, be sure and check out their farm store. Read more on their website here.

The group picture!

We gave Jordan and Laura the “Cowhead Award,” a barbed wire longhorn hand-made by Richard from old Missouri barbed wire. We have given these to farmers and ranchers from coast to coast!
