Here we are just before presenting at the American Forage and Grassland Council conference in Springfield, Missouri.
We have just confirmed a one and a half day school in Nebraska on October 27-28, 2010. We are in the process of confirming the location, and will post that here as soon as we get it set. We will teach from 1 to 5 pm on Wednesday the 27th, have a dinner together, and then teach from 8 am to 5 pm on Thursday the 28th with lunch included.
We are excited to be traveling to Ashland, Kansas on put on a full day school on April 28, and then we will head SE to Monticello, Arkansas to put on another full day school on May 1. If you are anywhere near either school and want to attend, click on the link on the city name to see how to register.

We spoke in Greenville, Missouri (just north of Poplar Bluff in the SE area of the state) today. What a joy it is to spread the word to folks (of all ages!) who are genuinely interested in learning!

Here’s Richard getting the projector set just right before we gave a three hour talk in Monroe City, Missouri. Steve Yates, Adult Ag Leader Teacher, had us come up and speak to his group of interested ranchers and hog farmers.

Before we spoke, we all ate a great meal prepared by JoLynn Yates, Steve’s wife (far right).
We will put on a one-day stockmanship school in Greenville, Missouri on March 12. We are really looking forward to meeting folks in the SE corner of the state and spreading the word about stockmanship!

Richard and I gave a short presentation on Stockmanship to the Women in Ag group of Cedar County, Missouri last night. Dinner was super, the audience was lively, and we tried to at least give them some idea of what better stockmanship might do for their operations!
February 19-20, 2010—Muskogee, Oklahoma—We will do a one and a half day school. Will meet from 2 pm to 6 pm on Friday and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday. More details coming soon!
