Richard, his son Garland, and I attended another one of Ann Barnhardt’s Livestock Marketing Schools yesterday and today. Again, we learned excellent information for making money marketing your livestock regardless of which way the prices go.
Garland, Tina, and I attended the Bud Williams Marketing Follow-up School in Independence, Kansas this weekend and picked up many great, new points on both marketing and stockmanship.

My son Garland and I pose by the sign for the school.

Lots of information is gained in the small group discussions.

Bud and Eunice put on another excellent school!
Richard and I attended the excellent Bud Williams Marketing and Stockmanship school November 6-8. Every time we visit the master we learn many new things.

Jim Lindsay of Low Stress Stockhandling in Australia, Jack Martin of Bar M Bar Ranch, and Richard discuss stockmanship at the school.
Visit stockmanship.com for more photos of the school.

We have a nice group of sale barn calves started.

Richard gets them moving to see how they are feeling and if they “need anything.”

Here they enjoy the new section of grass and clover to graze.

This spring’s fantastic rains have lead to excellent forage!

Look at the height of that red clover!
Read Ann Barnhardt’s “Bud Williams Marketing” page to learn more about attending a Marketing School to learn the marketing techniques we are using on our stockers. Also, read Ann’s excellent blog here for lots of great information and editorials.

Richard and I attended another excellent Bud Williams Marketing School in Springfield, Missouri this weekend. Here we are with Ann Barnhardt who teaches the schools. Be sure and check out both her weblog here and the Bud Williams Marketing web page.

Tina and I were excited to attend our third Bud Williams Marketing School with Ann Barnhardt at the helm when she brought the school to Springfield, Missouri. You will earn back the school fee in your first marketing transaction! Get to one as soon as you can!

I visited with the attendees after lunch about stockmanship. If you are wanting to sell and buy younger/smaller stock, you might need some stockmanship skills!
